Trouble Losing Weight? Maybe You have ANTS in Your Head
If you have been on diets in the past and failed to reach your goal or to keep the weight off, don’t blame the diet, blame the ANTS — Automatic Negative Thoughts — living in your head.
Negative thoughts repeated over and over again become the beliefs which impact your actions. If you beat yourself up for being overweight, tell yourself that you can’t lose weight or say mean things to your reflection in the mirror, what you are doing is planting negative beliefs deep into you mind at the subconscious level.
And what do these beliefs do? They affect your habits and behaviors, make reaching your goal nearly impossible and even adversely impact your self-esteem and self-image.
Exterminate the ANTS in your head and replace them with an Attitude of Gratitude. It might just mean the difference between weight-loss success and failure.

I think this is absolutely true but I also think it’s a lot easier said than done to eliminate these ANTS. Any suggestions?
