The Biggest Loser - Trivia Questions
You can never have enough trivia. I have been following The Biggest Loser all season. I have found it to be inspiring and a great example of just how amazing the human body is, not to mention how hard it can be pushed.
One thing I think the show has been illustrating well is that the contestants are working hard to achieve the incredible weight losses they are posting week after week. If you saw the last show, Neil was pushed to the brink of exhaustion. I do wish they would focus a little more on what the contestants are eating and how they are feeling about dieting. Controlling overeating and the emotional aspects surrounding food are obviously huge factors in losing weight but the show seems to play these factors down. Maybe they don’t want to give away their dieting secrets?
Any way, back to the trivia, I always like interesting little facts but I find myself the next day trying desperately to remember what the question and answer was, I decided to add last nights Biggest Loser trivia questions to this post.
Q: According to studies, how many Americans will be overweight in the year 2015?
A: 75%, which is 243 million people (ugh)
Q: True or False: Chili Peppers boost your metabolic rate which can burn up to 50 additional calories a day?
A: True, do you think there will be any left at the grocery store?
Q: If you drink 2 beers a week for one year, how many calories would you consume?
A: 15,000 calories (hiccup)
Q: How many calories could you burn if you got up to change the channel [as opposed to staying on the couch and using the remote].
